Hello everyone!
My name's Weronika and I come from Silesia, Poland. In my house my whole family speaks Silesian. I thought that it would be nice for you (and me :* )to teach you some Silesian words or phrases. I hope you'll like it :)
About me:
I love writing stories and listening to music, mostly Nickelback. I also read a lot of books and play the keyboard. My favourite books are "The Jewel", "The White Rose" and "The Black Key" by Amy Ewing, "Gwiazdka z Nieba" ("The Starts of the Heaven") and "Promień Słońca" ("The Sun's Shine") by Magdalena Kordiel - she's Polish writer. She's awesome!
Why?
Why do I wanna teach you? Because lots of Silesian people (who speak Silesian, of course) are angry when somebody from the outside doesn't speak Silesian. When they, for example, hear "gadać" ("talk") instead of "godać", it annoys them. Well, me quite too, haha. And I thought: "Hm... Why don't I make a blog about it?". So here I am :)
